That’s not something you hear that often. Tag tams are one of the true constants of wrestling. They have been around for a long time now and while they have been up and down over the years, they are not going away anytime soon. It’s an easy idea to have two wrestlers put together at once and sometimes, a company can find gold. That being said, it isn’t as great when one wrestler isn’t there and that was the case on Sunday.

Back in the 1980s, the Road Warriors burst onto the wrestling scene and became one of the most popular things the business had ever seen. As probably the most famous tag team of all time, other teams have attempted to imitate the Road Warriors for years, with no one really coming close. That being said, there will always be a place for two big monsters who can hit people really hard, but sometimes they have to slow down a bit.

According to F4WOnline.com, Erik of the Viking Raiders missed Sunday night’s live event in State College, Pennsylvania. Erik has been ill since returning home from Saudi Arabia and there is no word on how much time that he is going to miss. There was no mention of his absence, as his partner Ivar ran to the ring and made a save before teaming with Kevin Owens and Drew McIntyre against Seth Rollins and the AOP.

The Viking Raiders are a heck of a team when they’re healthy. Check out some of their biggest impacts:

Opinion: This is the kind of thing where you never know what is going to happen day to day the next so hopefully everything winds up being fine. The Viking Raiders have been a great team for a good while now and it would be awful to have them go off the shows for the time being. I can’t imagine WWE pushing Ivar that far on his own but stranger things have certainly happened.

What is next for the Viking Raiders? When will they be Tag Team Champions again? Let us know in the comments below.
