That’s not promising. Injuries are one of the worst things that can happen to a wrestler. Someone getting hurt can leave them on the sidelines for a rather long time or occasionally even end their career. You never know how long someone is going to be out of action and now we might have seen the ending of one of the greatest careers in the entire history of WWE.

Randy Orton has been out of action for just shy of a year, with his most recent match taking place on May 20, 2022. Orton has been dealing with a back injury and there is no word on when he will be returning to the ring, if he ever will. In a new interview with WrestleBinge, Randy’s father Bob Orton said that he thinks Randy’s doctors have told him to not return to the ring, though he did not say he was sure in any way. Bob also said that Randy was going to do what he was going to do.

Randy certainly has a history. Check out some of his time in WWE:

Opinion: That isn’t the most promising report, but at the same time, there is always the chance that Randy returns tot he ring anyway. Randy is already in his early 40s and likely doesn’t have a ton of time left in the ring in the first place, so having him get in the ring to wrap up his career on his own terms would be great. If that isn’t an option, it’s very safe to say that Randy’s career has been a smash hit and he has nothing left to prove. His health is what matters the most though, and if he doesn’t wrestle again as a result, that is for the best.
