That’s a lot of talking. There are all kinds of people who come together to make a wrestling broadcast work, some of whom have nothing to do with the actual action. Some of the most important people on a show are part of the broadcasting team, with the right play by play name being a key to the show. Now one of the most important voices in wrestling history has revealed an important detail about his future.

Monday Night Raw broadcaster Michael Cole was a guest on this week’s edition of the Impaulsive podcast where he was asked about his current contract. Cole revealed that he had signed a new contract with WWE last spring, which has another eight years to go. Cole, 56 years old, has been with WWE since 1997 and rejoined the Monday Night Raw broadcast team at the start of the year.

Opinion: Like him or not, Cole has been around WWE for a very long time now and there is no reason to think that he will be leaving anytime soon. That is the kind of thing that you do not see happen in wrestling very often and it is nice to see him start to get some more respect. Cole was not the most popular broadcaster, but he has become a legend through longevity and skill, which is more than many can say otherwise.
