On the mend. Injuries are one of the worst things that can happen to a wrestler as you never know how long they are going to be out of action. Someone can get hurt in the blink of an eye and have all of their plans changed, not matter what they are doing. That was the case again with a major international star earlier this year but now we have a positive update on her recovery.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: On The Mend: WWE Star Expected To Miss Six Months Following Surgery

Back in May, Mercedes Mone suffered a broken ankle during a match against Willow Nightingale and has not wrestled since. Mone had since been seen in a walking boot, but according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Mone has recently been spotted walking without the boot. This would suggest that she is improving, but there is no word on when she will be able to return to the ring.

Opinion: That is great to hear and now the questions are both when Mone will return to the ring but also where she will wrestle next. There is always the chance that Mone will pop up in AEW and it would be very interesting to see what she can do against a fresh crop of opponents. Mone has been one of the most talented wrestlers in a long time and now we get to see what she can do when she returns to the ring.
