That’s a long time. Injuries are one of the worst things that can happen to any wrestler as you never know how long they are going to be out of action. At some point a wrestler is going to have to go on the shelf and it can be a long time before they are back in the ring. That is the case with an AEW star but now things might be looking up ater quite the time looking down.

According to Fightful Select, AEW’s Marq Quen has been backstage at recent events, with the hope being that he will be able to return to the ring “sooner than later”. At the moment, it is not clear what kind of creative plans AEW would have for him. Quen last wrestled in November 2022 due to a shoulder injury, leaving his brother Isaiah Kassidy to team with Matt Hardy.

Opinion: It’s good to have Quen getting ready to return to the ring as he has already missed about a year of action. That is far too long for anyone to be out of action and it will be great to have him back. Hopefully he can find something to do, either on his own or as part of Private Party. He really was entertaining while he was in the ring, but he’s basically starting from scratch.
