That’s a big one. There are all kinds of talented wrestlers on the WWE roster but there is only one Roman Reigns. Prior to losing the WWE Universal Championship to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40 last weekend, Reigns has dominated WWE for about three and a half years. Whatever Reigns does is going to be a big deal and now we might not be seeing him for a major event.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: And NEW! Major World Title Change Takes Place On Friday Night

WWE has released the official poster for August’s Summerslam with Reigns not featured. While this would suggest that Reigns will not appear on the show, there is still the chance that he will appear. There is no word on Reigns’ status for any other upcoming major events. Reigns is currently taking a break from WWE and it is not clear when he will be returning to WWE TV.

Opinion: This is something that was going to happen at some point with Reigns, as he has been dominating WWE for so long that he is going to need a break. At the very least, it is a smart move to have Reigns away so Rhodes can become the bigger star in his absence. It will be nice to have Reigns back, but at the very least it is nice to see him getting a break after so much time dominating WWE.
