Take it back a bit. There are all kinds of wrestlers in the industry today but only a handful of them are top stars. Those are the wrestlers who are going to get the most attention and therefore often draw the most money to their promotions. They also often draw the most money to themselves but a recent report of a wrestler making an amazing amount might not be accurate.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Could Be: Interesting Name Possibly Being Inducted Into WWE Hall Of Fame

Earlier this week, a report from Tokyo Sports stated that Kazuchika Okada had signed a three year deal with AEW worth $4.5 million a year. However, according to both PWInsider.com and the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, this is not true. PWInsider says the number is “inflated” while the Observer says it is “considerably lower” but still “very large”. Tokyo Sports has not commented on the new reports.

Okada is already a star in AEW. Check out what he has done in the company:

Opinion: That would make a bit more sense, as the $4.5 million a year sounded almost impossible to believe. Okada is a great star but that would make him into one of the biggest stars of all time. I’m not sure what kind of money Okada is making but he does not seem to be starving and has already made a heck of an impression since he came over to AEW.

What do you think of Okada? How will he do in AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
