How times change. In January 2018, Ronda Rousey made her WWE debut and instantly became one of the biggest stars in all of wrestling. WWE rode her popularity and star power all the way to the historic main event of WrestleMania 35. Rousey has not wrestled in WWE since then though, as she is off trying to start a family. WWE would love to have her back, but a new story suggests that might not be the case.

Rousey’s WWE.com profile has been moved from the Current Superstars section to the Alumni section. This is the first indication that Rousey may not be back in WWE for the time being. There is no reason given for the move, though it is still possible that Rousey could return at any time. She has been rumored as a possible surprise at the first episode of SmackDown Live on FOX.

Rousey was quite the big deal. Check out the main event of WrestleMania 35:

Opinion: I’m not sure what this means, as Rousey could be ready to start the family she wants, or it could be a red herring for a surprise return. I would be more likely to believe that she is not going to be back anytime soon. Rousey is not someone who can be around all the time as some of her mystique would go away. She is only thirty two years old and could work for WWE on and off for years if she wants to. Either way, she already made an impact so her options are wide open.
