What could have been. With so many wrestlers on the WWE roster, it can be difficult to find a way to stand out. One of the most common ways is to be part of a wrestling family, as there have been several prominent ones over the years. Many of those families still have members active in WWE today and we almost saw two of them clashing over a pretty valuable prize.

Earlier this year, Solo Sikoa, a member of the Anoa’i wrestling family, was called up to SmackDown as part of the Bloodline, forcing him to vacate the NXT North American Title in the process. Sikoa appeared on a recent edition of Superstar Crossover where he said he felt there were plans for him to face NXT Champion Bron Breakker of the Steiner wrestling family. It was not clear if this was a definite plan or just speculation. Sikoa and Breakker never faced each other in NXT.
This could have been interesting. Check out what the two did in NXT:
Opinion: That is the kind of a feud that could have written itself and probably wound up being quite entertaining. I’m not sure how well this would have gone but it is certainly the kind of feud that could have worked out well. Odds are it will take place later on when Breakker is up on the main roster, which does give WWE something to look forward to with its future stars.
