Maybe? Interesting Update On Stephanie McMahon’s WWE Status

Not yet? There have been all kinds of changes taking place in WWE over the course of the year and many of them stem from the company being under new ownership. After more than 40 years, the McMahon Family no longer owns the company. The family is still around in some ways though, and now we know something more about one such member’s official status.

Since the change to new ownership, Stephanie McMahon has made occasional appearances in WWE, including opening Night Two of WrestleMania 40 and appearing ringside at Summerslam. According to PWInsider.com Elite by way of Wrestlinginc.com, Stephanie does not currently have an official role with the company, though she was recently seen at WWE headquarters. There is no word on if she will be given an official role.

Opinion: This is one of those situations where I could see Stephanie getting officially involved with WWE again down the road, but it might not take place either. Ultimately, the issues with the McMahon Family are because of Vince McMahon instead of Stephanie and it might make some people happy to have a McMahon around, even if it isn’t at the head of everything.
