Any audience in a storm. One of the most talked about stories this year has been the dismal ratings for both “Monday Night Raw” and “Smackdown Live”. Things haven’t been this bad in a very long time and there’s no indication that things are going to get any better. So how did “Smackdown Live” do this week?

Actually just a hair better as the audience was up slightly. According to Wrestlinginc.com, this week’s show drew 2.350 million viewers, up 1% from last week’s 2.328. This show was part of the build towards “Money in the Bank 2017” and featured a main event of AJ Styles vs. Dolph Ziggler.

Opinion: Well it’s not like they have anywhere else to go. The ratings and audience for “Smackdown Live” are little more than horrible at this point so even a minor improvement is a sigh of relief. If nothing else, it’s better than the ratings plummeting all over again. They need to go up again but at least it wasn’t another big drop.
