The gold is what matters. I know a lot of the focus in wrestling this week has been on the Royal Rumble, but that isn’t the only major show taking place over the weekend. In addition to the Royal Rumble, we also have the Worlds Collide special, in which NXT wrestlers will face off with NXT UK wrestlers. The build has been strong and now we have a special match included.

Given how much happened over the course of 2019, it is understandable when something slips under the radar. There have been some stories that just did not get the same amount of attention as the others, though that does not mean they have no meaning. One of those stories was the Cruiserweight Title moving to NXT, meaning that it is fair game for Worlds Collide.

Last week, WWE announced that a fatal four way match for the Cruiserweight Title would be taking place at Worlds Collide. The match would include defending champion Angel Garza and three challengers, all of whom would earn their spots through qualifying matches. Isaiah Scott earned his spot last week on NXT, leaving two spots available. Those spots were filled this week on NXT UK, when Jordan Devlin and Travis Banks won qualifying matches to earn their spots in the title match.

The match should be good. Check out how the challengers got there:

Opinion: This sounds interesting as we are almost guaranteed a fast paced, high flying match that will get a lot of energy out of the crowd. That’s the point of something like this and so far, it is the only title match on the show. I could go for something like this and hopefully the match lives up to its hype. In theory the title shouldn’t be in much jeopardy, but you never can be sure in something like this.

Do you like the match? Who do you see leaving as champion? Let us know in the comments below.
