Matt Hardy Posts Very Broken Tweets After "Payback 2017"

Here we go. Last night at “Payback 2017”, the Hardys successfully defended the Raw Tag Team Titles against Cesaro and Sheamus. After the victory, the Hardys shook their challengers’ hands but were then attacked and thoroughly destroyed in a post match beatdown. There is no way this can end well.

In the last twenty four hours or so, Matt Hardy has been posting some things on Twitter that certainly fit the Broken character. There are two in particular, both of which were posted after the beatdown. While the first feels like it’s done with a bit of a knowing wink to the audience, the second is about as clear as you can get.

First up:

Opinion: It felt like they were setting this up last night and that’s the best thing involved for everyone. The Hardys are still good but the nostalgic act can only go so far when the fans are all dying to see the Broken stuff. I don’t think this makes the Hardys Broken full time but the one off appearance will be a blast.
