He’d take a call. There have been a lot of returns to WWE over the last few months and a lot of that has been credited to the new regime in charge of the company. As a result of Vince McMahon losing power in the company, some wrestlers who have left the company have been willing to consider a return. Now another company might be interested should the right offer come up.

During a new interview with Metro, Matt Cardona, formerly known as Zack Ryder during his time in WWE, said that while he does not want to return to WWE, he would be willing to take a phone call. Cardona said that right now, he is focused on having the most fun and making the most money possible. However, he does want to wrestle in Madison Square Garden again and have another WrestleMania moment. In addition, Cardona issued a statement to Wrestling Inc., saying that he was busy with other projects but was “Alwayz Ready” for any opportunity. There is no word on WWE being interested in a Cardona return.

Opinion: I don’t know if Cardona is going to return to WWE, but he is doing rather well on the independent scene. It would be strange to see him get back in WWE as his old self, but I also don’t know if he would be the biggest star as his independent persona. Cardona being back in WWE would be cool to see though, if nothing else just because of how much success he had outside of the company. WWE might be interested, and that is a good sign for what Cardona has been doing.
