A little talking and a lot of punching. Things are picking up on “Monday Night Raw” as we have less than a month to go before “Summerslam 2017”. This week’s show saw the announcement of the Universal Title match with three people challenging Brock Lesnar. At the same time there’s the huge story of Jason Jordan being revealed as Kurt Angle’s son. These two stories will both be advanced next week, which we know in advance.

Kurt Angle reveals who will challenge Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam: Raw, July 24, 2017

This week on “Monday Night Raw”, a match and segment were announced for next week. Next time we’ll be seeing the three challengers, Roman Reigns, Samoa Joe and Braun Strowman, squaring off in a triple threat match and Jordan appearing on MizTV. Lesnar is also scheduled for the show.

Opinion: I definitely prefer this style of storytelling as WWE has spent WAY too long setting things up and then paying them off in one night. Setting things up a week in advance saves you all kinds of time as you don’t have to spend a good chunk of the show getting matches ready. We know the main event and a big segment coming in and therefore nothing needs to be set up for those two parts. Why is that so complicated?

Which of these are you looking forward to more? Who do you think will win the match? Let us know in the comments below.
