Malakai Black Reportedly Close To Finishing Up With AEW

Farewell? There are all kinds of talented wrestlers in the world today and a lot of them work in one of the major promotions. This includes WWE and AEW, but occasionally you will see someone leave one of those companies. That could be the case for a variety of reasons, but what matters the most is that someone is suddenly available. That appears to be the situation again.

According to Fightful Select, many in AEW believe that Malakai Black has either already finished up with the company or will be doing so soon. This comes after Will Ospreay suggested that Buddy Matthews leave Black’s House Of Black stable following their match this week on Dynamite. There is no word on whether Black was let out of his contract or his official status. He is still listed on AEW’s website and neither side has commented on the situation.

Opinion: This is something that has been rumored for a long time now and it seems to finally be happening. I’m not sure what happened with Black and AEW but the two sides never seemed to exactly be on the same page. It would be nice for Black to find a place to go and he certainly will have suitors, one of which very well may be WWE. For now though, it appears he is wrapping up with AEW, which is quite the change of pace.
