The new home? WWE has been going through a series of changes over the last several months and there is nothing to suggest that the changes will be stopping anytime soon. This includes the possibility of new television homes for Monday Night Raw and SmackDown, which could be quite the shakeup. Now we know a possible location for one of the shows.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, NBC is reportedly interested in acquiring SmackDown and airing it on their network. This would be in addition to Monday Night Raw continuing to air on the USA Network, which is also owned by NBC Universal, meaning both shows would be airing on the same company’s networks. There is no word on which other networks are interested in airing either show, though negotiations are expected to take place this year.

WWE has a history on NBA networks. Check out some of their shows there:

Opinion: This is a move that would make sense and it would be different to have everything under one roof. At the same time, WWE is going to take the most money they can while airing on a prominent network. What matters is getting WWE programming out there on the biggest stage they can for as much money as possible, which very well be NBC. Either way, odds are they are going to make another fortune, as tends to be their history.

What do you think of the idea? Where will the shows land? Let us know in the comments below.
