That’s a bright future. We are still in the middle of the Coronavirus pandemic and it has changed all kinds of things around the world. This is certainly the case of wrestling but now things are starting to turn around a little bit. Fans were back at WrestleMania 37 and other promotions have had fans appearing in growing numbers. WWE is still the big one though, and now we might be seeing a new step forward.

According to PWInsider.com, WWE is planning on bringing back live events near the end of the summer. The company is considering some test live events over the summer, though these are still in the very early planning stages. There is no word on when or where they would take place and all potential plans depend on how the Coronavirus pandemic goes in the coming months.

WWE last ran a regular television show with fans on March 9, 2020 with Monday Night Raw. Since then, their television shows have been run out of either the WWE Performance Center, the Capitol Wrestling Center or one of the buildings named the ThunderDome. There were fans in attendance at a reduced capacity during both nights of WrestleMania 37 with about 25,000 fans in attendance for both shows.

Opinion: This is firmly in the category of I’ll believe it when I see it, but the fact that we are now on the way towards building up the idea of live events returning is a great thing to see. I could go for seeing fans back, if nothing else just to have some extra energy for the shows. If the people can be safe, it would be great to see them coming back and having things feel normal for a change.

When will the fans be back in WWE? How will it change WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
