Major Update On Corey Graves' WWE Status Following Last Week's Incident

Problem solved? There are all kinds of people who work together to make a wrestling show work, with many of them not getting in the ring. Some of these people are tasked with keeping the fans involved with what they are seeing in the ring. It can be a big deal when some of these people are moved into a new role and that is almost what we saw last week, but now things have changed again.

Earlier this month, Corey Graves made a surprise return to the NXT commentary team. This led to an outburst from Graves on social media, with Graves missing the January 14 edition of NXT as a result. Graves was back on commentary on the January 21 edition of NXT and is seemingly back on the team full time. Commentator Vic Joseph seemed to make reference to the issue when the show started, telling fans to not adjust their sets as Graves really was there. It is not clear if Graves has been punished for his statements.

Opinion: This is great to see, as graves is far too talented to be sitting on the sidelines. He’s become one of the better broadcasters under the WWE umbrella and even being the third man on the third show is better than nothing. Odds are Graves will be moved back up when Pat McAfee takes his annual football season hiatus, ad while that might not be great, it is better than not having Graves in a bigger spot.
