Three stages in one night. The big story on “Smackdown Live” is Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn vs. Shane McMahon. The boss has some major issues with Owens and Zayn after they have attacked him multiple times and brought in Randy Orton to help him out. This leads to a match at “Clash of Champions 2017”.

This week on “Smackdown Live”, Shane McMahon announced that Zayn and Owens will team up to face Orton and a partner of Orton’s choosing at “Clash of Champions 2017”. At the end of the show, McMahon decided that he will be the guest referee and if Owens and Zayn lose, they’ll be fired from WWE. After the show ended, WWE.com announced that Shinsuke Nakamura will be Orton’s partner.

Here’s McMahon’s final announcement:

Shane McMahon puts Owens & Zayn's careers on the line: SmackDown LIVE, Dec. 5, 2017

Opinion: This match is going on last right? There’s no hiding the fact that even on a show built around champions that this match is far more important than any title match on the card. Couple that to the fact that we just saw Orton defeat Zayn when Owens was interfering and now we’re supposed to be interested in seeing Orton and Nakamura vs. the two of them and this isn’t the best story in the world.
