That’s a bad result. You never know when you might see someone get taken out of the ring by an injury. It is the kind of thing that can happen at any given time and something that happens in a split second can put them on the shelf for a long time to come. Unfortunately that seems to be the case with a current WWE star and they could be out of action for a rather good while.

One of the worst things that you can see in an injury is when it changes what happens to other wrestlers at the same time. If a wrestler is in a tag team, what happens to them can derail their partner’s career as well, especially if they are a team which does not work as well separated. That looks to be taking place now as a single injury could do damage to two wrestlers.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Rezar has suffered a torn bicep and will be out of action. At the moment it is not clear if he will need surgery, but if he does, he will be out of action for six to eight months. The injury took place on Monday Night Raw when Rezar caught a Montez Ford crossbody. It is not clear what this means for Rezar’s AOP partner Akam.

It was a rough match. Check out what happened on Monday night:

Opinion: That’s the kind of thing that you can’t predict as it was a basic spot that they have probably done a hundred times. This time though, it didn’t go well and Rezar got hut as a result. Hopefully the injury isn’t as bad as it seems as this is the kind of thing that could put Rezar on the shelf for a very long time. At the same time, I’m hoping that Akam’s career isn’t completely wrecked for the time being either, as he shouldn’t be sidelined when he’s healthy and ready to go.

What will happen when the AOP is back at full strength? What will happen to Akam while Rezar recovers? Let us know in the comments below.
