Lock em up and throw away the key. Sometimes in wrestling you need a gimmick match to really hammer home a feud and sometimes you need a gimmick match to showcase someone as a monster. We’re coming up on such a match this coming week and it seems to be a combination of the two ideas.

WWE.com has announced a steel cage match for this week’s “Monday Night Raw” with Big Show battling Braun Strowman. The two have fought twice this year with Strowman pinning Big Show once and the rematch going to a draw when a superplex destroyed the ring. Strowman is currently scheduled to challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title at “No Mercy 2017” later this month.

Here’s a preview for Monday’s match:

Opinion: Works for me. I’ve been very pleasantly surprised by their first two matches and having Strowman do some kind of insane power display and finish Big Show off once and for all should be entertaining. Strowman is almost guaranteed to win and that means we should be in for an entertaining brawl.

Do you think Strowman wins the title from Lesnar? How long do you think Big Show has left in the ring? Let us know in the comments below.
