That would be more. AEW has gone through all kinds of changes since its inception and it has been quite the trip for everyone involved. According to Fightful Select, Warner Brothers Discovery is supporting the idea of AEW expanding its pay per view schedule, possibly all the way up to one such event per month. This is said to have been something that Warner Brothers Discovery has wanted to do for some time. It is not clear if these events would be traditional pay per views or streaming specials on the MAX platform. The two sides are currently in negotiations for a new broadcasting agreement and there is no guarantee that such a change would be included.
AEW has some special events. Check out how what they might be able to do:
Opinion: I would hope that this isn’t the case, or at least not just tripling the amount of traditional pay per view events. If nothing else, that is asking fans for a lot more money that a good chunk of them are not going to be able to afford. On top of that, one of the appeals of AEW has been building up to those events at a slower pace. Adding about eight more events is going to throw a lot out of whack, including the more limited schedule the wrestlers enjoy.
