LOOK: Steve Austin Looks Very Different In Upcoming Super Bowl Ad

People know him. Wrestlers have a weird place in the celebrity world as they are not often on the same status as other athletes. While they are known for their wrestling status, they are rarely able to become known for anything else. You will occasionally see someone move up through the rankings though and now one of the biggest stars in wrestling history is getting a big commercial spot.

WWE Hall Of Famer Steve Austin has announced via Instagram that he will be appearing in a Super Bowl commercial for Kawasaki. The image features Austin wearing a mullet wig, which he makes fun of by saying he’s wearing a different shirt. Austin is a brand ambassador for Kawasaki and has appeared in ads for the brand beore. The Super Bowl airs on CBS on February 11.

Opinion: this is one of those things that you don’t see take place very often but it’s still cool. Austin is one of the biggest stars in the history of wrestling and it can be a big deal when he gets to be around for something like this. It’s something Austin can do rather well and people will still pay attention, which is exactly what Kawasaki seems to be banking on with the whole concept.
