Now another top WWE star is trying his hand at acting as part of a major film franchise.

WWE star Seth Rollins was photographed on the set of the upcoming Marvel film Captain America: New World Order. Rollins is shown in costume, though there is no word on what role he will be playing. The film is scheduled to be released on May 3, 2024. Rollins is currently scheduled to face AJ Styles for the inaugural WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Night Of Champions on May 27.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that should make for an interesting change, if nothing else for the amount of hype that WWE will give the appearance if Rollins is the World Heavyweight Champion when the film is released. I’m not sure if Rollins is going to begin acting more frequently but this is quite the role. Hopefully he doesn’t miss much ring time, but this is a good start if he wants to move into acting.
