WWE held the fight night of its 2023 Draft this week on SmackDown, with a group of NXT stars being called up. One such name was NXT Women’s Champion, who was drafted by Monday Night Raw. However, in her most recent match in NXT, Hartwell suffered an ankle injury (which nearly ended her title reign). Hartwell has since posted an image to her Instagram Stories, showing her in a walking boot. There is no word on how this will impact her title reign or when she will return to the ring.

Opinion: That isn’t the best looking development and now the question is where things go next for Hartwell. She is one of the most prominent NXT stars at the moment and gets to go up to the main roster as a result, but hopefully that is not going to be delayed due to the ankle issue. The fact that Hartwell was able to finish her title match is a good sign, but that is about all we have to go on at the moment.
