LOOK: John Cena Looks Rather Different These Days

There goes a classic. There have been a lot of wrestlers throughout WWE’s history but only a handful have become the face of the company. That status takes a special level of impact and skill and there have been stretches without someone really filling in that spot. Part of the package that gets someone into that spot is the look, and now one of the biggest names in WWE history has changed up his look.

John Cena has posted a new set of images to Twitter, showing himself at the reopening of the Lounge of Total Wine. In the photos, Cena is seen sporting a goatee, which is a different look for him after spending most of his career looking the same. It is not clear if the new look is for an upcoming acting role. Cena has not wrestled on WWE TV since Summerslam in August 2021.

Opinion: This is the kind of change that you do not see happen very often as it is almost strange to see one of the more iconic WWE stars of all time changing the way he looks. Maybe this is for an acting role or something similar, but it is almost hard to fathom Cena looking different. Cena is still a big deal when he shows up in WWE and I could go for having him back, facial hair or not.
