They did it. There are all kinds of wrestlers on the WWE roster today and while we get to see them get in the ring on a regular basis, there is another side to them that we only see glimpses of from time to time. The wrestlers’ personal lives are often hidden, but sometimes we get to hear some good news. That is the case again, with some of the best news imaginable.

On Wednesday, WWE’s Gunther announced that his wife, former NXT UK star Jinny, gave birth to the couple’s son. The announcement includes a photo of the three of them together. This comes as Gunther has announced that he will be taking time away from WWE, though he did not give a reason. It is not clear when Gunther will be returning to WWE television.

Opinion: That is great to hear and you do not get to see things like this happen often enough. It is rare enough to see wrestlers managing to have a personal life of their own but now these two have been able to become parents. Hopefully everyone is healthy and happy, which is what matters more than anything else. Gunther deserves time away from the ring to stay with his family and it is great to see him doing just that.
