LOOK: Former WWE Superstar Backstage At SmackDown, Meets Rhea Ripley

Tis the season. With so many wrestlers throughout WWE’s history, it can be difficult for any single one to make an impact with the fans. It takes something special to stand out and leave fans remembering a star years after they have departed. That can be the case every so often though, and one such wrestler who seems to have pulled it off was recently back with WWE for a visit.

The Boogeyman, who wrestled for WWE from 2005-2009, was backstage at last week’s SmackDown, with pictures posted to Twitter of him with various wrestlers. There is nothing to indicate that this was anything more than Boogeyman visiting as he was in the area. Boogeyman has made various appearances since leaving WWE, mostly on various legends reunion shows.

Opinion: This isn’t likely to lead anywhere but there is something fun about seeing a former star like the Boogeyman getting this kind of a special appearance. It can bring some enjoyment to some older fans and it would not surprise me to see Boogeyman show up in some kind of a special cameo, perhaps on one of WWE’s social media channels, soon. It certainly would be appropriate around Halloween, which seems perfect for Boogeyman.
