They’re back. There have been all kinds of stables and teams throughout WWE’s history, some of whom have had quite the success. They are often paired together for the sake of having some kind of common trait which can often come to define them. One such team came together again this weekend in a special reunion more than twenty years after they originally got together.

Team Angle (Kurt Angle, Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas) reunited over the weekend at the Big Event fan convention in New York City. The three have not worked together since their original time in WWE, with their last appearance together taking place in 2004. Benjamin recently signed with AEW, though there is nothing to indicate that either Haas or Angle will be appearing there.

They’re quite good. Check out the team in WWE:

Opinion: This is one of those special moments from a team that you probably haven’t thought of in a long time but there is still some nostalgia there. The team was quite good while they lasted and Benjamin is still active today. There is always going to be a place for a bunch of amateur wrestlers who know how to make it work in the professional world, and Team Angle did it as well as anyone.
