Catch you later? There are all kinds of promotions around the world and many of them have quite the talented lineup of wrestlers. You will occasionally see some of those international stars show up in a major American promotion and showcase their talents in front of a larger audience. That started earlier this year but now we might be in for quite the serious delay.

According to PWInsider.com, nineteen CMLL wrestlers’ work visas are being canceled. An independent promotion called Full Blown Pro had sponsored the visas but were contacted by the Department Of Homeland Security with unknown questions about the visas. Full Blown Pro promoter Jerry Cadena had contacted CMLL to help with the issue but CMLL stopped communicating with him. As a result, Cadena has stopped working with CMLL and the wrestlers will have to obtain new visas. This could potentially take up to 6-12 months, meaning any upcoming bookings, including in AEW or over WrestleMania Weekend would be canceled.

Opinion: That would certainly be a game changer for AEW, as the CMLL wrestlers have been a major factor in the company over the last few weeks. There is a good chance those plans are going to be put entirely on hold, which could affect everything from AEW TV to this year’s Forbidden Door. I’m not sure how well this is going to go, but things certainly have changed in a hurry.
