That’s not good. There are all kinds of injuries in wrestling and some of them can be rather serious. According to Fightful Select by way of Cagesideseats.com, Tyler Bate will be out of action for the rest of the year. Earlier this month, Bate revealed that he had undergone surgery to repair a torn pectoral muscle. WWE is continuing to use Bate’s partner Pete Dunne during Bate’s absence, including turning Dunne heel this week on Monday Night Raw and having him feud with Sheamus. There is no word on when Bate is expected to return to the ring.
Bate is quite good. Check out his time in WWE:
Opinion: Ouch indeed, as that is a very long time for anyone to be out of action, especially in a case like Bate’s, where he was just starting to take a new step with Dunne as the New Catch Republic. Hopefully he can be back in the ring sooner than expected as you never want to see someone being gone for so many months at a time. Thankfully WWE is doing something with Dunne, as leaving him on the sidelines would be horrible.
What do you think of Bate? What should Dunne do in his absence? Let us know in the comments below.
