That’s an even longer one. Over the last few weeks, one of the biggest stories sin WWE has been the fact that Roman Reigns has now held the Universal Title for over 1,000 days. That puts him very high up on the all time World Title reigns in WWE history, but as has humorously been pointed out recently, another title has been held almost twice as long with nowhere near the fanfare.

The Wrestlelamia Twitter account has brought up that Braun Strowman won a championship belt for his victory in the Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia in 2019. This would put his reign at over 1,860 days, though the title has never been defended or referenced since shortly after it was awarded to him. This has led to some interesting responses though and here are some of the better ones:
Everybody talking about Reigns' 1000 day but nothing about Braun Strowman's reign of 1867 days ?? pic.twitter.com/T5gNdmqL20

Well technically it's true, he never lost the Greatest Royal Rumble title

??? I forgot they gave him a belt for this. Would he technically have to vacate it now bc he’s going to be out of action for a while with the fusion surgery?

Y’all forgetting about Ezekiel Jackson’s reign of 4869 days ???? pic.twitter.com/0yWyQ5pK5i

Why does it look like the demon love child between the UK Title, The New World Heavyweight Belt and the 24/7 championship??

He earned it. Check out the Greatest Royal Rumble, plus Strowman in action:
Opinion: Ok so this probably shouldn’t count (and it doesn’t) but there is something nice about a flashback to a moment that has pretty much entirely been forgotten. Strowman winning the Greatest Royal Rumble was a nice moment at the end of a unique show, but at least they did something different here. Strowman would go on to become a big deal and that is part of the reason to give him a win like this one.
