Long Time Coming: Injured WWE Star Possibly Returning At Summerslam

Welcome back? We are less than two weeks away from Summerslam and that means WWE is going to be working overtime to make things more interesting and draw in as many fans as possible. There are a few ways to do that, with one of the biggest being bringing in stars to help carry the show. WWE might be doing that with a name that has not been seen in a very long time.

According to PWInsider.com, Bayley is scheduled to be in Nashville, Tennessee for Summerslam weekend, meaning that she could be returning at the event. This is NOT confirmed and is only seen as a possibility at the moment. Bayley has been out of action since June of last year with a knee injury, though she has recently been seen training at the WWE Performance Center.

Opinion: Bayley has teased returning so many times now that I’m only going to believe it when I see it. It has been a long time off for her but a major knee injury like this isn’t the kind of thing that you just bounce back from. I could certainly go for Bayley being back as she is one of the best stars in the entire women’s division. She has been gone long enough now that she is going to feel fresh against anyone and that is a great thing to have.
