He’s back! Injuries are one of the worst things that can happen to a wrestler as you never know how long they are going to keep someone on the shelf. Now we know what he is going to be doing.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: It’s Risky: AEW Team Agrees To Put Their Careers On The Line For One Last Title Shot
Two months ago, Adam Cole made his return to AEW television, following an eight month hiatus due to a concussion. Cole’s in-ring return was set for the March 29 edition of Dynamite but he did not have an opponent announced. This week on AEW Dynamite, Daniel Garcia interrupted Cole, with the match between the two being made official for next week. This will be Cole’s first match since Forbidden Door on June 26, 2022.
There is some talent involved here. Check out Cole’s return plus two of them in action:
Opinion: Cole having his first match back after such a long hiatus is a great thing to see and it should be a nice showdown. After nine months out of the ring, Cole should be ready to have a heck of a match and Garcia is a fine choice of opponent for him. Garcia is someone who has been built up in Cole’s absence and has enough value for Cole to get a win that means something.
