It took a long time. Injuries in wrestling can come and go, with some of them being a lot worse than others. What makes them even worse though is the recovery time, which can range from days to months to never if an injury is bad enough. Some of them might not show up as clearly as you might think though, with a current wrestler only recently getting over something from nearly two years ago.
Cesaro Tweeted a picture of his teeth without braces on Wednesday, showing that his teeth were finally healed after a nasty injury at No Mercy 2017. During the match, Cesaro went mouth first into the post, driving his teeth into the top of his mouth. After undergoing surgery to repair them, Cesaro was forced to wear braces for the better part of the next two years. This is also the reason he has wrestled in a mouth guard since the injury.

Since the injury itself is a bit gruesome, try this instead. Check out an awesome match:
Opinion: I had forgotten how horrible that one was as Cesaro’s teeth were literally wedged up into his mouth. That’s not the kind of injury that you see happen very often but it helped that the match was pretty awesome. It’s quite the condition if it takes twenty three months to finally get everything right, but it goes a long way in showing just how tough Cesaro really is.
What do you think of Cesaro? Will he ever get the big breakout push in WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
