They have earned it. There have been all kinds of stars throughout the history of wrestling but only a select group reach legendary status. While several wrestlers will win championships at some point in their career, they will ultimately lose them at some point. Opinion: This is long overdue and there is no reason for it to have taken this long. Women’s wrestling has been a part of the industry for decades and it is great to see it getting this kind of recognition. It is great to see women in wrestling getting this moment and hopefully more will be inducted into the future. A wrestling Hall of Fame is subjective in several ways but they have certainly started quickly.
