It’s been a bit. There are certain wrestlers who get your attention no matter what they are doing and it can be very interesting to see them show up. This week on Monday Night Raw, a match between Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes was officially announced for Night Of Champions on May 27 in Saudi Arabia. The match will mark Lesnar’s fifth consecutive Premium Live Event wrestling a match (Royal Rumble 2023, Elimination Chamber 2023, WrestleMania 39, Backlash 2023, Night Of Champions 2023). Assuming the match takes place, this will be the first time Lesnar has wrestled on five consecutive Premium Live Events since he wrestled on five consecutive events in 2003.
Lesnar has been on a roll. Check out what he has been doing recently, plus some of his 2003 run:
Opinion: This is the kind of thing that can interest me for a very long time, as there are infinite numbers of statistics to work through over the years. I’m not sure how long Lesnar is going to keep his streak going, but it is nice to see it happening after such a long time in between. Lesnar is a different kind of star and having him around this often in WWE makes things feel that much more special.
