She’s special. The WWE women’s division has come a long way in the last few years and it is almost impossible to fathom how far things have come. After so many years of being little more than a sideshow, the division has become a major part of WWE. Even in its dark days there were some stars who helped keep things moving forward. Now one of them is making a special appearance.
WWE has announced that Hall Of Famer Trish Stratus will be making a special appearance next week on Monday Night Raw. There is no word on what Stratus will do, as she is only billed as appearing. The show will be coming from Stratus’ hometown of Toronto, Ontario, Canada and comes after she will be appearing at two WWE live events over the weekend. Stratus last wrestled at Summerslam 2019.
Opinion: This is the kind of thing that WWE does well, as some of their legends are treated as special attractions. It helps to have them around as they make the show feel bigger, especially with someone getting to be in their hometown. Stratus certainly fits the description as she is a legend in her own time and one of the biggest inspiration to today’s women’s division.
What do you expect from Stratus? Will she ever wrestle again? Let us know in the comments below.
