Let's Go? Sami Zayn Offers Medical Update On Elbow Injury

Could be worse. Injuries are some of the worst things that can happen to any wrestler as they can slow anyone down in the blink of an eye. At the same time, there are some that build up over time and can take a good while to heal. Some are also ones that you can see in real time, which is the situation with a current WWE star. Now though, things might not be as bad as they seem.

Last week on Monday Night Raw, JD McDonagh attacked Sami Zayn, who was left with a bulge on his left elbow. This week, Zayn defeated McDonagh in a match with his elbow taped. Zayn appeared on Ryan Satin’s Out Of Character podcast and said that the elbow was “part of a nagging injury”. He ultimately said that it was “not great, but it will be ok.” There is nothing to suggest that Zayn will miss ring time.

Opinion: This could be worse for Zayn, whose elbow looks like it has a golf ball sewn inside. Hopefully that is something he can get cleaned out without missing any significant time, as Kevin Owens is already out of action to heal up his bad ribs. Zayn was able to wrestle this week, but now we have to wait and see if that is going to be the case again without having to miss some time in between.
