What Led To Lio Rush’s Backstage Heat In WWE?

So that’s not good. Earlier this weekend, news started coming out that there was backstage heat on Lio Rush in WWE over some attitude issues. Having backstage heat is rarely a good sign for someone’s future but there are various levels of heat in wrestling. As it turns out, things aren’t going well for Rush at the moment and we might not be seeing him for the time being if ever again.

According to Fightful Select by way of Ringsidenews.com, Rush’s issues stem from him insisting that his wife be present at every show. This caused some issues with the locker room, with Finn Balor talking to Rush about how having his wife around might not be viewed well by Vince McMahon. Rush didn’t respond to this well and is now basically now persona non grata in the WWE locker room. There is no word on when he will be back on TV, if he ever will be.

Opinion: Rush is someone who hasn’t been viewed well at various times in his career and if this story is true, it’s not a good sign for his future in the business. Having his wife at every show is going to rub some people the wrong way and Rush rejecting the criticism from someone who has been in the business for a long time isn’t a good sign. Hopefully this gets cleared up, but I’m not sure if he’s ever going to be back.
