He lost something. There are all kinds of things that come together to make a wrestler feel like a star, some of which are developed over time. Occasionally a wrestler will be a star and then develop other aspects, which can make for some changes over the years. That was the case in recent months, but apparently something is going to have to change as someone beat a WWE star to the idea.

Over the last few weeks, Jey Uso has used the catchphrase “yeet”, including on t-shirt and in crowd chants. However, the shirt was censored this week on Monday Night Raw, which according to WrestleVotes is due to a trademark issue. SEScoops is reporting that Kasey Huffman, an independent wrestler from West Virginia, filed a trademark on the “yeet” in 2021.
As evident on RAW just now, I’m told WWE has found trademark issues with Jey Uso’s “Yeet.” The word & merchandising will no longer be associated with Uso going forward.

Leave the memories alone. Check out Uso in recent weeks:
Opinion: This is something that happens every so often and hopefully it doesn’t impact Uso in a big way. What matters for WWE is getting Uso over as much as possible as he’s in the middle of a pretty big singles push. While the catchphrase helped, I’m not sure it is going to be some kind of major game changer one way or another. At the very least, it wasn’t around for a long enough time to be that big of a deal.
