Later? WWE Stars Reportedly "Considering Options" If Vince McMahon Continues Running Television

He isn’t popular. There has been a lot going on in WWE this week, with one of the more important stories being Vince McMahon reportedly returning to work in WWE creative. McMahon allegedly had a bigger hand in WrestleMania 39 Night One as well as Monday Night Raw, which was not so well received backstage. Now we might have a better idea of where things are going.

As previously reported, the backstage morale at Monday Night Raw was reportedly deflated after McMahon showed more control over the show. According to Fightful Select, at least two wrestlers, including one near the top of the card, “might” request their release if things continue as they were this week. Other wrestlers are said to be looking into their options if McMahon remains so heavily involved. There is no word on how WWE would respond to such issues.

Opinion: I’m not sure how much these wrestlers are going to back up their claims, but it does not seem to be going well for WWE under their new direction. If McMahon is going to be staying in his position of authority running the shows, things could get rather complicated rather fast. That is the kind of headache the new owners would not like, but they might have to deal with it.
