They can change. We are less than three weeks away from WrestleMania 39 and the show is mostly put together. If a match has not been made, it has at least been hinted at and will likely be set up in the next week or so. No Chance? Interesting Details On Vince McMahon’s Return To Monday Night Raw

As previously reported, WWE had pitched a Steve Austin vs. Brock Lesnar match for WrestleMania, with Austin turning it down. According to Sports Illustrated, the original plan for WrestleMania called for Lesnar to face Bobby Lashley, which was dropped to make way for the Austin match. A Lesnar vs. Bray Wyatt match was considered but never set. Gunther was another option for Lesnar, but WWE reportedly feels he is a year away from being ready for that match. Eventually, a match between Lesnar and Omos was announced for the show.

Those were some interesting options. Check out who was considered to face Lesnar at WrestleMania:

Opinion: Those are some interesting options but there is something a bit more fascinating about Omos being, at best, the fourth option for Lesnar at WrestleMania. Lesnar vs. Omos could be quite the spectacle, but I’m not sure how much it feels like a WrestleMania match. The good thing is that Lesnar has something to do, as his star power helps the show out quite a bit.

What do you think of Lesnar vs. Omos? Who would you like to have seen Lesnar face at the show? Let us know in the comments below.
