Kurt Angle Reveals What Would Make Him Come Back To WWE As A Manager

Bring him back? More often than not, a wrestler’s career is over when they hang up their boots for good. It can be difficult for some of them to admit that it is over though, with many of them trying to find a way to hang on. Every so often a retired star has another role that is almost perfect for them, which might be what we are going to see with a current star.

Back in April, Chad Gable turned into a full villain, attacking Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn following a loss in a title match. Gable has since turned into a more aggressive version of himself, including being verbally abusive to his Alpha Academy. WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle weighed in on Gable during a recent edition of his podcast, saying he would be willing to come back to manage Gable, though it would have to be worth it to him. This comes as fans have begun chanting “YOU SUCK” at Gable in a manner similar to Angle. There is no word on if WWE is interested in having Angle work with Gable.

Opinion: Angle and Gable do seem to be something of a perfect pairing if WWE wants to go in that direction. At the same time though, there is always the chance that Angle could overshadow what Gable is doing and that would miss the point. I could go for having Angle come in for a one or so off appearance to give Gable an endorsement, but going beyond that might not be the best move.
