They might need to work on that. There are a lot of problems with WWE today and some of them are bigger than others. It often seems that there is limited planning, as you will often see matches announced and then not presented, as it feels like the show is changed at the last minute. That seems to be the case, and it also appears that the wrestlers themselves are often in the dark about what is going on.
In an interview with 106.1 KMEL, Kofi Kingston mentioned that he found out what he would be in an eight man tag on this week’s Monday Night Raw via Twitter. This was also the case the previous week when Kingston and Xavier Woods participated in Tag Team Turmoil. Kingston said that the wrestlers are often the last people to find out what they are going to be doing and that if he did not use social media, he would not find out what he was doing until he made it to the building that night.
It is quite the interview. Check out the full video (with Kingston’s comments beginning at about 40 seconds) plus what Kingston has been doing on Monday Night Raw:
Opinion: This is one of those things that does not exactly make WWE look good and I’m not sure why it has to be that way. Granted it doesn’t help when you hear stories of Vince McMahon ripping up the script for Monday Night Raw multiple times a day on the day of the show. The fact that the wrestlers are the last to know does not make them seem like the most valuable thing either, and that is not a good thing.
