This might not surprise you. We are currently about three weeks away from WWE Crown Jewel, the latest show from Saudi Arabia. That makes for an interesting time in WWE as they have to set some things up that don’t really tie into the main stories going on at the moment. With so little time left, it is time to get something ready and we might know what they’re planning.
According to PWInsider.com, a previously announced press conference on Friday in Las Vegas will feature the official announcements of Cain Velasquez vs. Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman vs. Tyson Fury. These matches have been rumored for the show since both Fury and Velasquez debuted on last week’s Monday Night Raw and SmackDown respectively. There is no word on if they will wrestle again for the company after these matches.
The two newcomers have made an impact. Check out a little bit from each of them:
Opinion: These aren’t exactly shocking with everything that has been built up over the last week or so. The matches have the kind of freak show appeal that can help make the show a little more interesting and prevent a show that won’t be as popular from getting so much attention. It’s a logical idea and hopefully the matches wind up being entertaining enough, which is all you can ask for.
Which of these matches sound better? How do you see them going? Let us know in the comments below.
