He Would Know: Drew McIntyre Addresses Rumors Of His WWE Absence, Says “Smoke And Fire” To Some

Something to it. There are all kinds of wrestlers on the WWE roster and in some cases, some of them are not going to be happy. As a result, there are going to be issues between wrestlers and promotions, which can cause some standoffs. It can be difficult to keep track of what is really going on, but now a WWE Superstar is giving us a glimpse into what happened in a recent dispute.

Drew McIntyre made a surprise return to WWE TV at Money In The Bank earlier this month. This marked McIntyre’s first WWE appearance since WrestleMania due to reported issues involving McIntyre’s creative direction and the amount of money he was hoping for in a new contract. McIntyre was interviewed by TMZ and addressed the rumors, saying that “there might have been some smoke and fire with a few of them”, though he did not reveal which ones. It is not clear if McIntyre has signed a new deal with WWE or not.

Opinion: That is the kind of response that is only going to get people talking more, or at least wondering what McIntyre is talking about and that is why he said it that way. McIntyre suggesting that something is wrong, or at least was before is interesting and could be used later on. What matters right now is that he is around and hopefully that continues to be the case.
