He’s not done? Retirement in wrestling has become something of a running joke over the years, including several wrestlers retiring, only to be back in the ring months if not weeks later. It can also lead to wrestlers having to announce that they are not retiring when they have not been around in a bit. That was the case with a former multiple time World Champion, who has been missing from the ring.

In recent weeks, former Impact Wrestling and NWA World Champion Nick Aldis has been working backstage as a producer in WWE. During an interview with Niko Knows Best, Aldis clarified that he is NOT retiring from the ring. Aldis pointed out that he is 36 years old and described himself as “in his prime”. Aldis most recently wrestled on July 30 though there is nothing to suggest that he will wrestle in, or appear, on WWE career.
Aldis has had quite a career. Check out some of his time in the ring:
Opinion: Aldis makes sense here, as 36 years old is hardly an old age in wrestling. He was wrestling earlier this year with Impact Wrestling and certainly didn’t look bad. If he can keep getting out there and do his thing, let him stay in the ring as long as he wants to. Having Aldis show up on WWE TV would not be the worst idea, as he certainly has the skill to make it worse.
