That could be worse. There are always going to be injuries in wrestling and there isn’t much of a way around them. Someone is going to get hurt, or at least banged up, every time they are in the ring. Some of these are a lot worse than others, even if they could put someone on the shelf. That seems to be the case with a top AEW star, but it might not be too bad.

This past weekend, AEW presented its Revolution pay per view, which seemed to be fairly well received. Above all else was a Tag Team Title match with Kenny Omega and Hangman Page successfully defending the Tag Team Titles against the Young Bucks. The match was heavily praised, but it turns out that one of the participants was injured and might be out of the ring for a little while.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Omega suffered a broken pinkie finger during the match. As a result, he was not present at this week’s Dynamite and may be out of action for the time being. The injury will not require surgery and Omega will likely be put in a cast, which he could wear in the ring if necessary. It is not clear how long omega will be out or when in the match the injury took place.

Omega can do a lot when healthy. Check out some of his better moments:

Opinion: Thankfully this doesn’t sound too bad and hopefully Omega is back in the ring sooner rather than later. He’s starting to take things up to a new level and it wouldn’t surprise me to see him move up even higher on the totem pole in the next few months. Omega and Page are awesome together as a team and they have become one of the featured attractions in AEW. Hopefully he gets back in the ring sooner rather than later.

What is Omega’s best AEW match? How long will he and Page hold the Tag Team Titles? Let us know in the comments below.
